SLM E 83 emulsion is a 60% active non-ionic emulsion formulated with a polydimethylsiloxane. SLM E 83 can be used both in concentrated as well as diluted form. It has been specially formulated for use as polish ingredient .This emulsion is used to provide good gloss and minimum smear in car polish formulation.
Application Use clean water to dilute the SLM E 83 and a standard dilution of 1: 10 to 1:30 is recommended for best results. An optimum dilution of 1 : 20 is recommended for excellent result, if it is to be used in the diluted form.
Storage and Shelf Life SLM E 83 has a shelf life of at least 6 months when stored at 25 °C in the tightly closed original container. The 'Best use before end' date of each batch appears on the product label. Emulsions showing signs of creaming should be agitated before use to assure uniform consistency. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons. P
